Viiniopas - Your Personal Wine Connoisseur
Viiniopas is the perfect tool for wine enthusiasts. This Android application allows users to access over 2,500 different wine reviews, covering almost all wines available at Alko, Finnair, and Viking Line. The app provides basic information, verbal reviews, and a scale ofpoints to rate each wine. Additionally, almost 1,500 wines have accompanying label images.
Viiniopas makes it easy to browse wines by type and country. It also has an advanced search function, allowing users to search by minimum rating, maximum price, wine type, country, and free-text search from the review text. The app also provides food pairing recommendations for each wine, making it easy to find the perfect match for your meal.
With Viiniopas, users can save their favorite wines and write their own notes about each one. They can also share their favorites directly on Facebook. The app includes almost all Alko store wines, a large part of the Alko order selection, and a selection of restaurant wines. The guide is based on Pekka Suorsa's 2011 Viiniopas book, but it also includes all Alko's new wines up to the present day, with new updates added continuously.
